Background

Yuqing Hu studied medicine from 2015 to 2020 before pursuing a Master of Public Health. She then embarked on a PhD in cancer epidemiology and biostatistics at the German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg University, where her doctoral thesis focused on “Risk-adapted colorectal cancer screening in individuals with a family history of colorectal polyps.”

Currently, Yuqing works as an Epidemiologist in the Department of Medical Informatics at Erasmus MC, contributing to the European-wide DARWIN EU® project on real-world evidence generation.
