Background
Roberta obtained her BSc in Biology in 2018 and her MSc in Biology Applied to Biomedicine in 2021 at the University of Pisa. Followed by a Postgraduate Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics and Data Science in 2025 at the University of Siena, Italy. Her postgraduate master’s thesis, titled “Development of an explainable model for constructing interaction graphs between clinical and environmental factors: the case of diabetes”, focused on explainable modeling approaches.
Her PhD focuses on analyzing the impact of pre- and post-transplant clinical features on graft and patient outcomes. Her ongoing PhD activities involve prediction benchmarking using patient-level prediction models.
