Background
Melissa is appointed as Epidemiologist for Real World Data Studies, working within the DARWIN EU® project.
She obtained her BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2015 and MSc in Epidemiology in 2020, both from Utrecht University. Melissa conducted her PhD research at the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Pharmacology at Utrecht University and defended her thesis "Pharmacoepidemiologic studies of infection among people with multiple sclerosis: Occurrence and effects of pharmacotherapy" in April 2025.
