Background

Berta Raventós holds a MSc in Microbiology and a MSc in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. She received training in epidemiology and observational research, completing a PhD in Methodological Research and Public Health from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Berta has experience conducting multi-database epidemiological studies using real-world data, as well as contributing to the development of tools to analyze data mapped to the OMOP Common Data Model.

Her research interests focus on the secondary use of healthcare data for epidemiological research. At Erasmus MC, Berta is currently working within the Data Analysis and Real World Interrogation Network (DARWIN EU®).
